The Outlook for Someday workshopsThe Outlook for Someday is a film competition which encourages New Zealanders up to age 20 to make a short film on how they see the future unfolding “through a lens of sustainability”. Chris Schmelz is running workshops at Mt Aspiring College. More information on the project can be found at www.theoutlookforsomeday.net.

Oil recycling startsWastebusters is installing a storage tank for used oil. From September 3rd we will be accepting used oil at the site so bring down any you have been saving up at
your place.

12th-16th September - Celebrate Wanaka by joining Wanakafest in going plastic-bag free
E-Day
29th September - Bring your discarded computer gear to Wanaka Wastebusters for free, safe disposal. This is part of a national initiative to tackle the growing pile of hazardous computer waste, known as e-waste.
