The recycling centre is home base for Wanaka Wastebusters. We have a massive second-hand shop and yard, which is visited by more than 70,000 people a year. There is a recycling drop-off in the yard, and an after-hours recycling drop-off outside the main gates.
We also take back a wide range of products including electronic waste, cellphones, batteries, eco-bulbs, ink cartridges, waste vegetable oil, used engine oil and reusable beer bottles.
You can find us on the corner of Ballantyne and Riverbank Rds. Our opening hours are 9am-4pm, seven days a week. Closed Christmas Day, Easter Friday and Anzac morning.
