Wanaka Wastebusters are passionate about Education for Sustainability (EfS). It’s always been part of our vision and daily operations. The solid waste department of Queenstown Lakes District Council also understand the need for EfS within our district and have been supporting Wanaka Wastebusters to work with our local schools to help them along their journey towards sustainability since 2007.

Simon Williams is our in house educator and facilitator. He has at his disposal two amazing programmes; Enviroschools and Zero Waste Education. This blog aims to showcase the amazing positive actions that our students and teachers are taking along their journey.
